Founder, together with Paul Watzlawick, of the Centro di Terapia Strategica (C.T.S.) in Arezzo where he carries on his profession as psychotherapist, Teacher and coach.
Recognized as one of the most creative and rigorous scholar and therapist, considered the most outstanding exponent between researchers of the School in Palo Alto, because of its innovative work. His most valuable contribution was to create specific protocols of treatment for the most debilitating psychological disorders, demonstrating how they could cure through quickly and efficiently most mental and behavioural disorders.
This was his first valuable and innovative work, turning the brief therapy towards a form of therapeutic technology: "Brief Strategic Therapy”.

The results of his clinical research have found important applications in the field of organizational and managerial field. Through systematic strategies suited to the specific problems, stratagems able to unlock the resistance to change, advanced techniques of communication, he has developed another personal Model. It stands out for its ability to effective intervention where rationality and ordinary techniques do not work: "Strategic Problem Solving", production showed by the  28 books translated into a lot of languages.

Today his scientific and applicative contribution represents not only a model but a real "School of thought", internationally recognized, which  the scholars, practitioners and managers from all around the world take inspiration from. For years he held lectures and seminars in a lot of countries.
